In the presence of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, and Italian Premier Matteo Renzi, SACE and the Central Bank of Iran have signed a settlement agreement for the recovery of the sovereign credit due to SACE by Iranian counterparties.

The decline in commodity prices, rising debt in the emerging countries, and growing political violence have resulted in € 5 billion in lost exports, but opportunities remain for € 32 billion in new exports over the next four years.

Yapı Kredi Leasing has struck a deal to borrow a 6-year term loan for a sum of 40 million Euro under the guarantee of SACE, the Italy’s export credit company.

SACE has announced it is examining € 5 billion in new projects to sustain the exports and investments of Italian companies and confirmed its commitment in the Country, one of the most strategic markets for Italy in the Mediterranean area. The announcement came in occasion of the bilateral meeting between Economic Development Minister Federica Guidi and the Egyptian Minister for Investments, Ashraf Salman, with the participation of Alessandro Castellano, CEO of SACE.
