Valerio Perinelli New General Manager of SACE BT

Rome, 20 March 2017 – From the 1^st of April Valerio Perinelli will be the new general manager of SACE BT, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SACE (CDP Group) specialized in insuring current accounts receivable, bonding, and protection against construction risk. The appointment was approved today by the Board of Directors of SACE BT

Perinelli, 46, earned a degree in business from Università La Sapienza of Rome and has two decades of experience, with increasing levels of responsibility, with Euler Hermes, the world's largest credit insurer in Italy and abroad. In the past two years, he has held the position of managing director of Euler Hermes UK & Ireland, after being based in France for eight years as world sales and marketing manager for World Agency, the unit of Euler Hermes responsible for multinational business and a member of the company's Management Committee.

This appointment, following the one of Michele De Capitani as Chief Financial Officer of SACE, will complete the team of the Export and Internationalization Hub of the CDP Group, which has the task to implement the 2016-2020 Business Plan recently it approved.

A Plan that confirms the importance of SACE BT and assigns to the company –  which closed 2016 with an ROE of 8.7% - the target to mobilize € 27 billion (20% more than the previous period) in the 2016-2020. The company's range of products and services, in fact, will be more sharply focused on exports and internationalization, with new digital solutions and greater integration and synergy with the offerings of the other CDP Group companies.
