SACE has € 300 million’s worth of new operations in the pipeline for Brazil and with an exposure of € 1.3 billion, the country became the fifth largest market in the company’s portfolio. The best opportunities for Italian companies will come from mechanical engineering and construction sectors where SACE is currently concentrate its activities.

SACE has guaranteed a € 60 million loan granted by Crédit Agricole and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria to Italian company Astaldi for the execution of contracts and the support of its investments in concessions sector abroad, particularly in Turkey.

Today in Moscow were finalised the agreements between SACE, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), Intesa Sanpaolo, Société Generale, KFW IPEX-Bank and VTB Bank Russia for an export financing package in favour of the De Eccher Group. In the last few months the Italian group secured the contract for the development of the “VTB Arena Park” ahead of the 2018 World Cup which will be held in Russia.

SACE has approved a guarantee on a US$ 600 million loan granted to Braskem Idesa, the Brazilian-Mexican joint venture, for the construction of the largest petrochemical project in progress in the Americas: Etileno XXI.

SACE and China Merchants Bank signed a cooperation agreement to support the internationalization of Italian companies in China by enhancing their access to capital resources.
