SACE, Italy’s Export Credit Agency and insurance-financial group controlled directly by the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, specialized in supporting businesses and the national economic system, signed two Memoranda of Understanding with KazakhExport Export Insurance company and Development Bank of Kazakhstan (DBK). The agreements were formalized on the occasion of the Italian-Kazakh roundtable, part of the official visit to Italy by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Italy’s Export Credit Agency, SACE, brought together a hundred leaders from the Brazilian and Italian business and finance community in Sao Paulo to explore trade and industrial synergies, with the aim of facilitating the transition towards green energy.

SACE unveils its new ESG Strategy at COP28, while addressing a diverse audience of more than 100 industry leaders from the GCC region, a pivotal area shaping sustainable transition initiatives globally. Driving change, accelerating the transition of its customers and becoming a “ESG Excellence Company” in its daily activities are the core principles of the new Strategy, which will entail the considerable evolution of SACE's operating and business model with the integration of environmental, social, and governance criteria in all decision-making processes and a scientific measurement of its impact

The loan is aimed at supporting the Brazilian company Raízen that has a strong investment plan in green and renewable energy projects

With more than EUR 8 billion worth of projects under consideration in Saudi Arabia, SACE is preparing to open an office in the country to stand closer to companies promoting Made in Italy in the region.
