SACE is participating in a mission promoted by the Italian government to Turkey and announces a guarantee on a € 400 million line of credit earmarked to finance contracts awarded to Italian firms, including SAIPEM, as part of STAR Refinery project. SACE also announces a € 2.1 billion line of guarantees available to Italian businesses operating or intending to operate in Turkey.

Unicredit, SACE and IMR Automotive have announced the finalization of € 2 million in new financing earmarked to fund the expansion efforts of the Italian group specialized in the production of automotive components.The line of credit brings to € 5 million the total loans granted to IMR by UniCredit and guaranteed by SACE.

The Board of Directors of SACE approved over € 3 billion in commitments for export credit transactions and guarantees for investments abroad by Italian firms for a total of over € 5 billion.

According to SACE estimates, Italian exports to Vietnam could increase to € 1.4 billion in 2018 by satisfying the country's demand for industrial technologies and infrastructure and consumer goods. SACE is participating in a business mission promoted by the Ministry for Economic Development and Confindustria to Kazakhstan, where the Italian insurance-financial group is examining € 500 million in new projects and seeking to consolidate the positioning of Italian business in a diversified range of industrial sectors: infrastructure, mechanical technology, agro-food and textiles-apparel.
