T&D Water Technologies and Development is a Padua-based company specialising in water treatment, which has been operating for over 20 years in the sectors of primary water, process water, wastewater and treated water recycling.

T&D designs and builds water treatment plants, both in standard production or on a specific project, and produces a vast range of filter elements and containers, equipment, systems and complementary products for domestic, municipal and industrial use.

For several years, it has also been operating in the sector of renewable energy and integrated systems for environmentally-compatible energy, offering solutions which combine the efficiency and high performance of the facilities with Italian design and helping its clients throughout the world. 

Operating abroad is now, for many Italian businesses, a compulsory choice they have to make in order to grow. But the competitiveness of Italian exports and Italian-made goods is increasingly linked to the credit terms available to foreign buyers rather than to the quality and price of the actual products and services offered.

In the case of T&D, SACE guaranteed a $7 million loan for the construction of the facilities needed to build an eco-sustainable green resort in the Maldives.

Through the Buyer Credit policy, SACE guarantees loans granted to foreign counterparties to purchase goods or services from Italian businesses, extending the financing capacity of the banking system.
