Established in 1958, Gatto was one of the first companies in Italy to revolutionise the market by creating the modular kitchen.

Currently a leading brand, and setting an industry benchmark, it enjoys international fame for high quality, innovative design.

The company is based in Le Marche and produces all its kitchens in Camerano, Ancona. With a workforce numbering 100 highly specialised craftsmen, it exports approximately 40% of its production, mainly to Europe, the Middle East and North and South America. 

In order to take part in tenders, supplying works and orders both in Italy and abroad, businesses are increasingly being required to provide performance bonds to guarantee contractual fulfilment.

And this is exactly what led Gatto Kitchens to SACE, which provided the Marche-based company with a guarantee for the supply of 1,692 modular kitchens, worth a total of £14 million, for the Olympic East Village in London.

Through the issue of Performance Bonds, SACE guarantees the smooth execution of contracts acquired by Italian business abroad.
