Our Institutional Commitment and Synergies with the Italian System
Italy today benefits from a highly structured system of support for exports and internationalization, with contributions from multiple actors within the Sistema Paese. Within this framework, SACE works in close and structured collaboration with the country’s key institutional stakeholders—including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), ICE–Agency, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Simest, Confindustria, and industry associations—aiming to maximize synergies and ensure the effectiveness of initiatives.

Participation in Institutional Initiatives
SACE actively participates in numerous institutional initiatives designed to enhance the competitiveness of Italian companies in international markets, such as:
- Business Forums and Country Presentations organized by MAECI, ICE–Agency, Confindustria, and other associations;
- Sectoral and system missions led by national institutions;
- Contributions to intergovernmental commissions on bilateral economic cooperation between Italy and partner countries, coordinated by MAECI.
Steering Committee for Internationalization
SACE also contributes to the drafting of the final document of the Steering Committee for Internationalization (Cabina di Regia per l’Internazionalizzazione), an annual exercise coordinated by MAECI and MIMIT. This initiative reflects the joint commitment of the Italian Government, regional institutions, and business representatives to effectively coordinate national policies and strategies for international growth
SACE and International Institutions
Beyond national stakeholders, SACE also builds relationships with international institutions, participating in joint initiatives and working groups within the OECD, the Berne Union, and the Paris Club.
