SACE and Saudi EXIM strengthen cooperation through reinsurance agreement

SACE, Italy’s Export Credit Agency, wholly owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, has signed a reinsurance agreement with the Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM), further consolidating the long-standing cooperation between the two institutions.

The agreement, announced in the framework of the Italy–Saudi Arabia Business Forum organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, establishes a framework for reinsurance support on projects of mutual interest in third countries. By enhancing the joint capacity of SACE and Saudi EXIM to facilitate export credit initiatives, the partnership leverages the complementary strengths of both institutions to promote international trade flows and create new business opportunities for Italian and Saudi companies.
