Environmental and Social Impact Assessment availability for the Quiluma & Maboqueiro Development Project

SACE is assessing the Quiluma & Maboqueiro Development Project, part of the New Gas Consortium in Angola, for which insurance cover is being sought. The Project is operated by Azule Energy Angola B.V.

The Project involves the development of offshore gas fields and associated infrastructure to support Angola’s energy transition and domestic gas supply.

SACE is carrying on the environmental and social review of this Project. The Non-Technical Summary (NTS), which outlines the key environmental and social aspects of the Project, is available to the public upon request. A copy of the NTS can be requested via email at: [email protected] .
