Established in 1875 in the very heart of Valdobbiadene, the Bisol wine cellars are one of the area's most well-known producers of the Prosecco Superiore DOC wine, with vines immersed amidst the steep hills of Veneto.
Just like in times past, today the company continues to turn the territory's intrinsic qualities to its advantage, keeping a firm, direct control over all stages of the production chain to create a product that can compete with champagne.
Through a cyclical generational hand-over, the company continues to be family-run, whilst also being incredibly innovative. Today Bisol aims high, seeking growth and the realisation of 90% of its turnover abroad within the next five years.
The first product outlet market is the USA, followed by South America, Europe and India.
“Today we export our production to 67 countries around the world. Continuing on this path means heavy investment in the land, facilities and relations abroad. For this reason the partnership with SACE has been and will continue to be a winning one for us. SACE is alongside us for our ambitious growth projects and supply us with the financial tools that support our entry into new markets.” Gianluca Bisol, Chairman & CEO – Bisol
Bisol benefits from the SACE guarantee of a 1 million euro loan taken out to consolidate its business abroad, develop the sales network, plan marketing activities and participate in industry fairs all over the world.
In recent years, the difficult conditions in accessing credit have been the main hindrance to the growth plans of Italian businesses, and particularly small and medium-sized enterprises. The intervention of SACE in these cases can effectively facilitate access to liquid funds for a great many businesses and this is why, for years, the group has been collaborating with major banks, supporting businesses in their projects.
SACE offers its guarantee for the internationalisation of SMEs in support of small and medium enterprises in their development projects abroad.
