What are the main benefits of SACE’s insurance cover?
Our insurance cover guarantees the prompt payment of credits due to Italian enterprises (or their foreign subsidiaries) by foreign counterparts. Companies may disinvest their balance’s favourable postings and/or obtain credit on more favourable terms from financial markets.
Who can refer to SACE?
Domestic enterprises, or their foreign subsidiaries, of any size belonging to any sector and banks.
What documents are needed to apply for SACE’s insurance cover?
The following documents must be attached to the application form:
- Articles of incorporation, by-laws and the relevant modifications by the Shareholders’ Meeting
- approved annual reports referring to the last three years, including the duly signed supplementary notes and minutes of the Shareholders’ Meetings
- Certification of Chamber of Commerce registration including the original operativeness certification; List of banks with which the enterprise holds relations (optional).
These documents must be provided with the first application only.Are there any minimum eligible amounts to have an insurance cover?
There are no minimum amounts, except transactions with deferred payments of over 3 years. For these transactions, the limits established by international regulations apply (Union de Berne).
Can insurance cover be requested even for one single client?
Insurance cover may be requested even for one single export.
