Credit Opinion is an online service provided by our ExportPlus platform.

This service provides you with a preliminary evaluation of the credit worthiness of your foreign buyer and a preliminary quote on the insurance cost. 

You can select between two types of Credit Opinion, depending on the risk underlying the transaction and the counterparty. 

• Bank Credit Risk
  A Bank Credit Opinion enables you to obtain a free of charge online assessment together with an estimate of the insurance premium, in respect of more than 3000 banks around the world.
  This feasibility assessment is suitable for companies that  wish to cover commercial risk in documentary LC transactions and, therefore, need information on bank reliability. 

• Corporate Credit Risk
  A Corporate Credit Opinion may be requested to SACE to assess your foreign buyer's credit-worthiness. This would enable you to close your deal faster and with more safety. This kind of preliminary opinion is available at a cost of  € 100 suitable for exporters dealing with unknown buyers. In order to make use of this service, you would need to provide us with your buyer's financial statements of the last two years.
